General InformationThe symposium is devoted to the discussion of the various facets of QUARKS, as the basic constituents of strongly interacting particles, from low to high energies.The main topics are: • Constituent quark models • Structure functions of hadrons • Spin structure of the nucleon • Meson-baryon physics • Chiral perturbation theory • Diffractive processes and QCD • Lattice gauge theory and hadronic dynamics • Quark masses The program of the symposium consists of invited talks and a limited number of seminar talks by participants. If you intend to give a seminar talk, please indicate it on the application form. The organizing committee will decide on the seminars shortly before the beginning of the symposium. If you wish to apply, please go to Application and Accommodation Information. Alternatively, the completed application and accommodation form (printout from the web-form) may be sent to the organizing committee (address below). Your accommodation request will be forwarded to the Tourismusverband Wölzertal, which will subsequently notify the participants about their reservation. Generally, the accommodation will be in single or double bedrooms with breakfast (price per person and day approximately EUR 20 - 30). Deadline for application is August 17, 2003.
