Within the frame of NAWI Graz, beginning in the winter term 2011/12, the new Master study "Space Sciences and Earth from Space" has been established. The students will get trained in a technical and natural sciences oriented education in the area of space sciences and they will have the choice between three different major fields of study, complimentary to each other: "Solar System Physics", "Satellite Systems" and "Earth System from Space". This new Master study is based on the principles of research oriented education and benefits from merging the competences of institutions located in Graz as there are the Karl-Franzens University, the Technical University, the Space Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and Joanneum Research.
