Fun and Trivia

This sections covers some of my leisure activities and (mostly) non-scientific interests. Have fun!

Fireshow

Lose the fear of fire - but keep the respect: One of the hobbies I recently acquired - giving artistic performances with firestaff, torches & the like. Most techniques and tricks I know I have learned from the duo Kalynia and Sonnenstrahl, Sunfire-Feuertanz, and Franz Hofer, INFIRE. By now I am a member of Flammenkinder von Bluot zi Bluoda.

For equipment and tips see for example Filzi, SAM's shop, Firetoys or oddballs.

Crackpot Theories

They are not meant to be funny, but nevertheless it can be quite entertaining to read through them. Sometimes it is easy to spot the errors, sometimes it is almost impossible to find them since there are rarely any meaningfull statements contained at all. (For a way to rate those concepts, see The Crackpot Index):

Small Cool Games
