Climate Station

Meteorological Station - University of Graz - Data since 1836

The meteorological station consists of a semi-automatic weather station (TAWES) and a conventional weather station. The data of TAWES be forwarded via a dedicated line to Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik (ZAMG) in Vienna.

The sensors for temperature, humidity and precipitation are in the 'Weather Garden' in front of the main building of the University of Graz (47.08° N / 15.45° E) at 366m above sea level. The barometer is on 379m above sea Level.
