2nd place for the student poster competition at European Solar Physics Meeting (ESPM) for Florian Koller

The PhD student Florian Koller (Heliospheric Physics Research Group at the Institute of Physics; Supervisor. M. Temmer) was awarded the 2nd place for the student poster competition at this year’s European Solar Physics Meeting (ESPM). The ESPM takes place every other year with more than 300 participants. Florian Koller was selected amongst a group of about 60 early career scientists. The presented work with the title “First results on production of magnetosheath jets during SIRs and CMEs”  is conducted in collaboration with the Space Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (F. Plaschke and L. Preisser) in the frame of a joint FWF project.
