Doch diese Wellenfunktion der Elektronen lassen sich heute sogar dreidimensional abbilden. Die winkelaufgelöste Photoelektronen-Spektroskopie kann dies selbst bei Zimmertemperatur. Diese neue Methode könnte sogar einen weiteren Weg zur direkten Beobachtung chemischer Prozesse eröffnen.
