The Institute's research activities contribute to a variety of socially relevant challenges, particularly in the areas of energy, sustainability, environment, climate, digitalization and health. It does this in interdisciplinary cooperation with other institutes and faculties of the university, as well as in collaboration with regional, national and international partners.
