As part of the “Stand-EUVI” Seasonal School, organized by the doctoral colloquium “Human Factor in Digital Transformation,” the three young physicists, Dorian Brandmüller, Michael Lamprecht, and Christoph Stockinger, were able to gain their first impressions of the world of standardization. The focus was not only on data and facts relating to standardization and the legal basis for this typically industrial topic but also on the importance of European values and interests and how these are incorporated and implemented in the relevant procedures.
In addition to numerous guest lectures and interactive elements, the “ETSI AI and Data Conference 2026” in Sophia-Antipolis, France, was the highlight of the Seasonal School. The topics discussed there have a strong impact on various areas, especially in light of the EU's AI Regulation, which has now come into force.
