The article „Fostering Pre-Service Physics Teachers’ Pedagogical Content Knowledge Regarding Digital Media” by Rike Groß-Heilmann, Josef Riese, Jan-Philipp Burde, Thomas Schubatzky and David Weiler was published in the Journal Education Sciences.
In terms of the binational cooperation DiKoLeP (digital competences of pre-service physics teachers) of RWTH Aachen, University of Graz und University of Tübingen learning environments for physics teacher education were developed and evaluated. The article discusses the development of a test instrument for measuring digital-media pedagogical content knowledge and presents first results of significant increase in pre-service teachers’ digital-media pedagogical content knowledge attending the learning environment.
