Windspitzen bis 109 km/h wurden am 12.6.2018 gemessen.

Am 12.6.2018 um 18:01 erreichte die Windgeschwindigkeit an der Station Graz-Universität mit 109,1 km/h beinahe Orkanstärke. Automatisierte Messungen gibt es seit 1988, in dieser Zeit wurde nur einmal ein höherer Wert registriert: am 28. 7. 1998 waren es, bei einem ähnlich schweren Gewitter, 115,9 km/h.
